Puerto Rico State Seal Patch
Description
The Puerto Rico Seal consists of a lamb at the center of the green background which represents peace and confraternity. Above the lamb is the rack of arrows symbolizing creative force. The letters F and I stand for Fernando and Isabel, the names of the Spanish kings at the time of the island's discovery. The Latin word "JOHANNES EST NOMEN EJUS" means "Juan is Its Name". Around the green circle are the lions of Leon, towers of Castile, Spanish flags, and the crosses of Jerusalem signify Puerto Rico's Hispanic heritage.
