Robins Air Force Base Patch
Description
Robins Air Force Base is a US Air Force installation located in Houston County, Georgia. The base is located east of the city of Warner Robins, 29 km south-southeast of Macon. Built from 1941 to 1942 and controlled by Air Force Materiel Command. Its current Commander is Col. Lindsay Droz.
It is named in honor of Brig. Gen. Augustine Warner Robins, the Air Force's "father of logistics".
