Description

NROL-67 mission was, launched on April 10, 2014, under the USA-250 satellite. The launch happened in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) located on Cape Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida using the Atlas V 541 rocket. It is positioned in Geosynchronous Orbit (GSO), 35,811 × 35,777 km × 1.4°. The design is based on SIGINT High Altitude Replenishement Program (SHARP-1). Its function is as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT), intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people (communications intelligence—abbreviated to COMINT) or from electronic signals not directly used in communication (electronic intelligence—abbreviated to ELINT). Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
