Description

NROL-30 mission was nicknamed "Pyxis", launched on June 15, 2007, under the USA-194 satellite. The launch happened in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) located on Cape Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida using the Atlas V 401 rocket. It is positioned in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), 1,347 × 879 km × 63.4°. The design is based on Intruder 8A & 8B or Naval Ocean Surveillance System (NOSS). Its function is as a Naval reconnaissance, a series of signals-intelligence satellites that have conducted electronic signals intelligence for the U.S. Navy since the early 1970s. Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
