Description
NROL-22 mission was launched on June 28, 2006, under the USA-184 satellite. The launch happened in Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), Space Launch Complex 6 (SLC-6) located In Santa Barbara County, California using the Delta IV M+ rocket. It is positioned in Molniya orbit, 38,628 × 1,740 km × 63°. The design is based on Improved Trumpet 4. Its function is as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT) or ELINT , intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication. Its current status was unknown but was able to enter outer space and do its service.
