Description

NROL-19 mission was nicknamed "Homer", launched on September 9, 2003, under the USA-171 satellite. The launch happened in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) located In Cape Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida using the Titan IVB-Centaur rocket. It is positioned in Geosynchronous orbit, 35,995 × 35,592 km × 11.4°. The design is based on Orion 5. Its function is as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT), intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication. Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
