Keesler Air Force Base is a US Air Force base located in Biloxi, in Harrison County, Mississippi, USA. It is named in honor of aviator 2d Lt. Samuel Reeves Keesler Jr., a Mississippi native killed in France during World War I. Built in 1941 and controlled by Air Education and Training Command. The base has specialized in ground trade training since it started during World War II.
Its host unit is the 81st Training Wing of AETC.
