Indiana State Seal Patch
Description
The Indiana State Seal was provided by its constitutions of 1816 and 1851. It was approved as the official state seal design by the 1963 General Assembly. It consists of a buffalo with its tail up, a woodsman holding his ax, shoots of bluegrass, a sun with 14 rays, and two sycamore trees.
