Cannon Air Force Base Patch
Description
Cannon Air Force Base is a US AF Base, located 11 km southwest of Clovis, New Mexico. Built in 1942, operated by US Air Force and controlled by Air Force Special Operations Command. It was named in honor of Gen. John Cannon. The host unit is the 27th Special Operations Wing. A variety of special operations aircraft are stationed at Cannon, including the AC-130J Ghostrider, MQ-9 Reaper, U-28 Draco, etc.
