Atlas V rocket on NRO launch L-28 Patch

Following the Trumpet program, another program with somewhat smaller satellites but identical orbits was launched. On March 13, 2008, they resumed the reptile theme with the launch of an Atlas V rocket on NRO launch L-28 from Vandenberg Air Force Base. The NROL-28 mission patch depicts Earth in the claws of a bald eagle.
