160th Fighter Squadron
Description
The 160th Fighter Squadron (160 FS) is an inactive unit of the Alabama Air National Guard. It was last assigned to the 187th Fighter Wing, stationed at Montgomery Air National Guard Base, Alabama. Its role is as fighter and has been active since October 1947. During the 1990's its most significant deployment was for contingency operations enforcing UN sanctions against Iraq.
