Description
Salem-Keizer Volcanoes is a Minor League Baseball team of Northwest League. Founded in 1997 and located in Keizer, Oregon. Owned by Jerry Walker and managed by Tony Torcato.
The team won Freitas Awas as the best short-season Class A baseball franchise in 2001.
Its logo was inspired by the role and number of volcanoes in Oregon, specifically Mount Jefferson which can be seen over the team's Stadium.
