Description
The Nevada State Seal consists of two huge mountains, a quartz mill, a miner running out a carload of ore, and his team moving a carload of ore from a mountain on the left which symbolizes the state's mineral resources. Agriculture symbols like a sheaf of wheat, a sickle, and a plow can be seen in the foreground. Transportation and communication are represented by telegraph poles and a train steaming across the background. Its natural beauty is represented by a shining sun rising over snow-capped peaks. The motto, "All for Our Country" and the 36 stars representing Nevada as the 36th state to join the Union were in the inner circle of the seal.
