Description

The Los Angeles Angels is an American professional baseball team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Founded in 1961 by Arte & Carole Moreno, headquarters in Anaheim, California. The First owner of the franchise was Gene Autry. After three decades, the Walt Disney Company took custody of the team. In 1971, the logo underwent some changes. It was now based on the white outline of the state of California, wherein the word "angels" were written in red diagonally. The golden halo can be seen above the letter a, and a yellow star can be seen below the letter "L" which indicates the location of Anaheim.
