Description
Goodfellow Air Force Base is a nonflying US Air Force base located in San Angelo, Texas, United States. Its main mission is cryptologic and intelligence training for the Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.
Built in 1940 and controlled by Air Education and Training Command.
Its host unit is the 17th Training Wing. The base is named after World War I aviator First Lt. John Goodfellow Jr.
