Description
Fort George G. Meade is a US Army installation located in Maryland, named after George Meade, a union general from the US Civil War, who served as commander of the Army of the Potomac. The headquarters includes the Defense Information School and Media Activity, the US Army Field Band. Built in 1917 and controlled by US Army Installation Management Command.
