Cincinnati Reds is a professional baseball player team that appeared in 1882. Founded in 1881 by Bob Castellini headquartered in Cincinnati, USA. The Reds compete in MLB (Major League Baseball) and are part of the NL (National League) Central Division. It was a registered member of the American Association in 1889.

The First owner of the team is Justus Thorner. John Brush led the team for two years until in 1902 he sold it to August Herrmann. Hermann controlled the team until 1927.
The name of the team Cincinnati Red Stockings went to Robert Castellini according to the tradition established in the city. It was also known to be Cincinnati Redlegs.
In 1920, the main letter "C" became even closed with a thin black outline. This logo became the team's emblem for the next eighteen years.
