Baltimore Orioles Patch 1966 to 1969
Description
Baltimore Orioles are an American professional baseball team based in Baltimore. The Orioles compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. The team was named after the state bird of Maryland. In 1966 the first cartoon bird appeared on Oriole's caps which was later removed in 1989 in favor of a realistic-looking bird. Its team mascot, the Oriole Bird was launched in 1979.
