Description

The Arizona State Flag is divided into two half-parts and a center big copper star. The first half-part consists of 13 alternating red and yellow rays symbolizing Spanish colonies. The second half-part consists of the color blue, which represents the Colorado River which flows through Arizona. The Center's big copper star signifies the copper production in which Arizona is being identified as the largest producer of copper in the United States.
