135th Airlift Squadron
Description
The 135th Airlift Squadron (135 AS) is a unit of the Maryland Air National Guard 135th Airlift Group located at Warfield Air National Guard Base, Middle River, Maryland. The 135th is equipped with the C-27J Spartan. Its role is Airlift, nicknamed "Baltimore's Best" and has been active since 1955. Its major engagement was during Operation Enduring Freedom.
