Description
NROL-41 mission was nicknamed "Gladys", launched on September 21, 2010, under the USA-215 satellite. The launch happened in Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), Space Launch Complex 3E (SLC-3E) located In Santa Barbara County, California using the Atlas V 501 rocket. It is positioned in Retrograde Low Earth orbit, 1,112 × 1,109 km × 123°. The design is based on Topaz 1 or Future Imagery Architecture (FIA) . Its function is as a Radar Imaging, a program awarded to Boeing to design a new generation of optical and radar imaging US reconnaissance satellites for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
