Description
NROL-34 mission was nicknamed "Odin", launched on April 15, 2011, under the USA-229 satellite. The launch happened in Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), Space Launch Complex 3E (SLC-3E) located In Santa Barbara County, California using the Atlas V 411 rocket. It is positioned in Low Earth orbit, 1,261 × 965 km × 63.4°. The design is based on Intruder 9A & 9B or Naval Ocean Surveillance System (NOSS). Its function is as a Naval reconnaissance, a series of signals-intelligence satellites that have conducted electronic signals intelligence for the U.S. Navy since the early 1970s. Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
