Description
NROL-28 mission was launched on March 13, 2008, under the USA-200 satellite. The launch happened in Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), Space Launch Complex 3E (SLC-3E) located In Santa Barbara County, California using the Atlas V 411 rocket. It is positioned in Molniya orbit, 38,009 × 2,362 km × 63.2°. The design is based on Improved Trumpet 5. Its function is as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT) or ELINT , intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication. Its current status was unknown but was able to enter outer space and do its service.
