Description
NROL-15 mission was launched on June 29, 2012, under the USA-237 satellite. The launch happened in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Space Launch Complex 37 (SLC-37B) located in Cape Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida using the Delta IV Heavy (first RS-68A upgrade) rocket. It is positioned in a Geosynchronous orbit, 35,960 × 35,628 km × 2.8°. The design is based on Orion 8. Its function is as a Signals intelligence (SIGINT), intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication. Its current status was presumed active and was able to enter outer space and do its service.
