Description
Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp is a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League. Founded in 1962 and located in Jackson Ville, Florida. Owned by Ken Babby and managed by Al Pedrique.
The team won their only International League championship in 1968. They also won the Southern League championship 6 times.
Its logo features a shrimp in the letter "J" form that stands for Jacksonville and water on both sides which pays homage to Jacksonville's nickname the River City.
