The Chicago White Sox is an American professional baseball team based in Chicago. The White Sox competes in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) Central division. It is owned by Jerry Reinsdorf.
Its first logo "white stockings" was a red printed letter "C", which resembled an outline of a dark red square with cut corners and a slit.
