Boston Red Sox Patch 1976 to 2008

The Boston Red Sox is an American professional baseball team based in Boston. The Red Sox competes in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. The team has won nine World Series championships and has played in 13 World Series.
In the 1976 logo, in the middle of a red-and-white circle were a baseball and a pair of red stockings. Added to the outside logo are the words "Boston" and "Red Sox" written in red with a blue outline.
